Rushed at points, like there's certain scenes missing.

The graphics are generally sprite based, though the art design is pretty coherent (ie you can tell at a glance who's ship or mecha belongs to which faction.) You can tell its story was. It's a free indie game, so its production values are not huge. Over the course of the story they do develop as characters, but someone with low tolerance for anime tropes might not like that part of the game even if there's no actual routes or anything ala a normal VN.

Which means there's waifus, and they all start out as stock anime archetypes - Enthusiastic tomboy, shy waif, cold/emotionally distant waif, perverted doctor, tsundere, etc. It's a hybrid strategy/VN game in the vein of Sengoku Rance, albeit with much different strategic gameplay. It also gets points from me for providing a reasonable explanation for why there's so many waifus in space. There's also a lot of neat little touches - your unit voiceovers will react differently depending on how damaged they are, each weapon used gets its own voice over, etc. For a free indie game it has a lot of character, and the gameplay is reasonably deep.

#Sunrider academy sola route Patch#
Now the game does have some nudity but you have to download the nude patch to add that in You can choose certain dialogue options which effect the course of the game with your karma and character attitude changing depending on what you pick. This is what the non combat side of the game looks like, you talk with various characters in your ship like a Visual novel. There are a number of difficulties which range from 'Theres no way youll die' to 'Theres no way youll survive' When combat finishes you get money which you can spend on upgrading your units, buying new units or other such stuff

The art styles nice, the stories enjoyable, the characters are mostly likable Its a free game and i think anyone whos interested in a game with a good story or Turn based combat should give it a try I started playing it about a week ago after my brother downloaded it and found it quite enjoyable įor people who havnt played it heres what the combat game play looks like, its turned base with a fair variety of units. Has anyone else been playing this? Its pretty good. I cant find a thread about this so a thought id make one
